When you visit our website www.leuchtturm.li, the browser used on your computer or mobile device ("end device") automatically sends information to the server of our website.
No information is stored.
Under no circumstances do we use data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.
We also use cookies when you visit our website. You will find more detailed explanations in sections 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.


c) When using our contact form / email
For questions of any kind and the use of our order function, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. To do so, you must provide a valid email address and the following personal and company data so that we know who sent the request and can respond to it:
- Company name, address and contact details (telephone number, email)
- Surname and first name of the contact person
Further information can be provided voluntarily.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your voluntary consent.
You have the option of contacting us by encrypted email. Use the provider www.protonmail.com for this purpose.

Your data is stored exclusively on servers of the providers "Rentman" (https://rentman.io) and "Tresorit" (tresorit.com), whereby the data protection provisions of these providers apply.

4) Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are temporarily stored on your device when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device and do not contain any viruses, Trojans or other malware.

We do not use any analysis or tracking tools when you visit our website.
Some rental items may be equipped with tracking services (e.g. "Find my Device" for Apple iPads). This data is used exclusively for theft solving and can be analyzed in the event of such an incident.

6) Social media plugins
We do not use any social media plugins on our website. By clicking on any links to social media platforms, you can be automatically redirected there, whereby the data protection provisions of the respective platform immediately apply.

7) Rights of data subjects
You have the right to
request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the category of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;

We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when you visit our website. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.
We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties; in particular, we use password-protected hardware and software, as well as encrypted e-mail traffic (www.protonmail.com).
